Numista.com is a valuable site for world coin collectors (as most of you know). Having just purchased the Democratic Republic of the Congo aluminum 1965 "Lion" coin, I learned that there exists a variation, and that many of these coins were melted down. All 600 or so are listed in alphabetical order, per country with grade and value. It takes a little time to format the list, (use landscape orientation), but once done it is easy to add new acquisitions. Should I suddenly kick-the-bucket, my wife will then have a complete list which would help her sell, or donate etc.. Numista also provides much more information per each coin, for example:

Best of all, Numista is free to use. www.numista.com

Gary in Washington
