Sorry didnt mean to ignore you I guess I missed your message and went straight to your coin is a mirage, no It isn't any of the 3 known error varietys. But you know just because people have only found 3 types doesn't mean only 3 exist. This coin has alot of mistakes and I didn't even send all the pictures I had, Its nearly impossible to get a good picture with a ph and a flash glaring off the coin. There is die crack on the eagles raised wing that goes all the way thru his wing and into the A there is doubling on her lips and nose. How this dude gonna say it's worth $1 when one with just a lil line in his stomach is selling for $500+ and a curly tail is pulling $16,000??? I'm getting it looked at by a appraiser if it's worth a dollar I'll buy that fool a pack of gum wit it

The marks on your coin did not occur at the mint. They're a results of hits and contact with other objects after it left the mint. You may want to do some research on how coins and dies are made. Once you learn the basics, you'll understand that your coin couldn't have been minted with all the scratches and dings.

Here's the process for making dies

Here's some very basic stuff from the US Treasury on the minting process

There's a lot of info out there. I would recommend seeking it out and if you have any questions, many of the experienced members on Coin Talk can help. They can also provide guidance as to which sources are helpful and which are full of "you-know-what". A lot of YouTube videos are just click bait with an amazing amount of incorrect information and plain old lies.

    Hope this helps

The little line is called a wounded Eagle, and I believe the result of a die gouge, I am not sure what a curly tail is. But if you are referring to a cheerios dollar then they are true die variety's. These coins do have a premium compared to other coins like them because they can be attributed by die markers and a specific die pairing.

In the case of your dollar coin,, It was struck with deteriorated dies, It also has what is called machine or mechanical doubling, Md is called worthless doubling for a reason it can happen anywhere on the coin and to thousands until the problem is remedied by a mint employee, this type of doubling is not the result of the die is the result of the machine. (worthless)

Most of the other marks you circled and pointed to are the result of circulation damage, these are not die markers. They are unique to that specific coin..

When you spend 15$ more than the coin is worth to have someone tell you I am right, Then you can send me that pack of gum, I will gladly help you eat crow. But I'd rather it be a six pack I don't chew gum.

If you actually want to learn about coins then stay off of the BOOB tube, don't go searching on etsy for prices, Those folks have no clue what they are talking about.
