Confessions of a numismatics sinner (Warning: Long Rant)

Here in the south, a glass of sweet tea and a book on my porch are just what I want after a long day of work. I spend a lot more time on my collection on the weekend.

Always a pleasant surprise... until you realize you've bought 2 of the same thing (yeah, I've done that).

How did this ever go?

 

I've made the tags, and I'm now photographing/rephotographing some coins. I've yet to start on the cataloging. So all in all a work in progress, but it's OK because I won't be buying a lot of coins for the next few months.

I'll probably do a thread about it all once I'm completely finished.

 

Right now I got a pile of coins on my desk. Guess that means I need to slow down, input them into my databases, and make labels. Oh yeah and post them here too, lots of work.

 

Since reading your original post, I have been copying and pasting the sellers attributions and photos into a word file as I buy new coins. This way I at least have a start on cataloging my collection.
