Not an expert but there are a few things to look for. The notes are hand numbered and signed. I have a couple of Confederate notes. The notes tend to be irregular cut and the ink used for the numbering and signatures not of the greatest quality and fades easily. The notes are fairly common but there are fakes out there. Cannot really tell from your photo, but nothing screams fakemornreproduction. I found a website that lists known reproduction/ fake Confederate notes. I hope this is helpful. https://oldcurrencyvalues.com/fake_confederate_money/
I added to my original response above. Nothing screams fake or reproduction to me. The bills are fairly common.
Sorry I didn't respond earlier, @DarkRage666. I didn't get an alert when you mentioned my Cointalk handle. Regardless, I don't see anything that screams reproduction or fake to me.
Out of curiosity, how much did it go for? I'm pretty sure I could find a better example elsewhere on the internet from a reputable dealer.
That's honestly not a bad price assuming that it is indeed an authentic note. You'd be hard-pressed to find an attractive example elsewhere for that kind of money.
