Common 1964 nickel?

    They were made at the Philadelphia mint and those did not have a mint mark.

    With 1,028,622,762 minted, I'd have to say yes, they're pretty common.

    I remember an old magic trick that went...ask someone to select a nickel from their pocket and "magically" identify it as a 1964 nickel.

    I spent some time searching nickel rolls in the 1970s. Man, did I get tired of 1964 nickels. :)
