My recent addition, an AE AS of Commodus as Hercules, probably the final type of coin issued by him before getting strangled to death. A budget example nonetheless but has nice minty green patina. 8.22g. A meme I made for this coin,
Nice. Il already posted it but I can't resist Commodus, AE sestertius, 31-34 mm, 21.50 g., 6 h. Obv.: L AELIVS AVRELIVS COMMODVS AVG PIVS FELIX, head of Commodus with short beard wearing lion-skin turned left. rev.: HER-CVLI / ROM-ANO / AVG-VST divided by upright club, all in laurel-wreath. Provenance: Claude Silberstein, Paris, c. 1977
