I'll order from the American Legion.
The Mint can go pound sand.

The half dollar will be another bomb. I'm buying one. It's hideous.

The half looks like they put a former POTUS on it.

I won’t be getting in anyone’s way who wants to buy those.

IMO the US Mint should give collectors a voice in selecting the design of their coins. They could just as easily mail ballots to their customers or put it up on the website. The $5 gold coin looks like they're honoring the Eiffel tower. I'm aware of what the connection is but how many know it (don't count collectors). The $1 coin is the only decent design. CCAC & CFA aren't doing such a great job either. Those 2 kids on the half look like they were copied from a cartoon comic book.

The USPS started printing and selling what I call wallpaper several years ago. A new stamp for everything possible. And, with the quarter and dollar programs the US Mint started minting and selling what I call ballast. It is all in an effort to generate revenue. I stopped my stamp collecting in 2002 and have stopped buying modern commemoratives and the dollar and quarter stuff as of a couple of years ago. I still maintain my collections but do not participate in the new junk. And, I do mean junk. The designs are despicable.

In this case history should indeed repeat itself.

That's why the CACC came about.
