Here is a picture of the gold plated and cu-ni props coins from when the movie came out in 1988 I believe.

I got them cheap from a dealer in LA California years ago.

He got them from the defunct continental coin company.

The gold plated was intended to be used in the movie but instead they used the paper 100 pound note.

The cu-ni was handed out at the movie premiere.

Wish I could determine the mintage of the gold plated ones as they are in pristine condition, no scratches or dings and the strike is strong.

I would send my best out for grading but the cost of the grading is too steep.

Just thought I would share the images as they are a popular selling item on Ebay.

I managed to get 3 rolls of 20 gold plated and one roll of the cu-ni.

I got them for an average price of $7.50 a piece and sold most of them for $33 after housing them in a nice presentation case.
