Color Variation/ 3 pennies from Original Bank Roll

Has anyone seen a Plum or eggplant color on a penny? These three cents have been stored in the same roll for 40 plus years. What turns one side of the penny a plum color, while the opposite sides remain normal? God, I wish all pennies were plum. I apologize for the fuzzy first photo!

Those are some pretty pennies . Finally , no road kill, dryer or any other damage . Thanks for sharing !

 

Sometimes it depends how they are stored . Plum coloring is just nice toning .
