Colonies and protectorates

It is interesting question for me: how many colonies & protectorates were in the whole world during the last 300 years? I want to make a thread where each of us may to share his colonial coins. I suppose that it will be rather interesting.

SPANISH PHILIPPINES (until June 12 1898).

 

PHILIPPINES as the dependent territory of USA (until 1935).

 

PHILIPPINES as the autonomous territory of USA (until July 4 1946).

 

MEXICO.
Spanish colony until September 16 1810 (de jure) and until September 15 1821 (de facto).

 

JAMAICA (British colony until August 7 1962).

 

FIJI (British colony since September 1 1875 until October 10 1970).

 

Don't really collect colonial coins myself, but those are interesting pieces. I particularly like the Fiji design with the flat turtle ...

Self government territory at 1947 - September 30 1960. De facto - it was a protectorate of UK.
