These recently came to me as part of a wholesale lot. There are some fun mint goofs I thought error enthusiasts would appreciate.
Some nice errors there, I will tell you that clips, and off center strikes do not bring much money. I recall selling Jefferson nickels with clips and off center strikes around $10 each. Now double/ triple strikes do tend to have higher premiums. Any new coinage within the last 10 years more errors are found by their new system and canceled or destroyed. So any errors found these days do bring higher premiums. Because the mints system does a good job of sorting the good from the bad. Now " some" of your specimens posted may be worthy of grading to increase value. You may want to ask Fred Weinberg who is a member here,as well on line most days. He could advise you much better as to values.
I really like the near clips meaning only a slight edge hit leaving just a few letters or devices I have a cent and nickel that are that way. The nickel you can see the last two digits and FS .
You are welcome. These sorts of errors don’t really do it for me but I know there are many who love them. My favorite of the group is the 1985 Off Center Quarter.
