Yeah, that one is pretty egregious. I liked the coin, though. The portrait of Zeus was appealing. PS- I looked for the "coin only" versions of those images to prevent you and other slabhaters from having aneurysms, but I couldn't find them. Photobucket (where I used to keep all my pictures) is a horrifying site to visit these days. You think a nutty label on an NGC slab bugs you, try navigating around on Photobucket for 30 seconds and see how many popups and malware warnings you get.
A lot of good Greek bronzes out there that make a good contrast to Roman types. They tend to be a little more mysterious given the history of many Greek cities is not well known. The location of Terina was unknown until the 1990s for example. The only real remains from the city were its beautiful coins.
A few more, cuz I enjoy them. Greek collecting seems to focus on Silver, which make the Bronze coins fun: Sicily Kamarina AE 15mm 3.4g 420-405 BCE Athena Owl Lizard 3 dots Sear Gk 1063 SICILY Kamarina Æ Onkia 13mm 1.5g 420-405 BCE Gorgon tongue - KAMA owl r lizard in claw pellet in ex SNG Münch 411 Sicily Syracuse 275-215 BC AE 19 Hieron II Poseidon-Trident Sicily Syracuse 317-289 BC AE 23 Hemilitron Agathokles Kore Bull Dolphin Sicily Syracuse AE 18 357-344 BC Female Hd Dolphin Scallop Sicily Syracuse ca 410 BC AE 19 Athena Wreath Hippocamp Sicily Syracuse Hieron II 275-269 BC AE 15 Persephone Bull RIGHT Rare Sicily Syracuse Hieron II 275-269 BC AE 22 Persephone Bull LEFT Sicily Messana Mamertini 288-278 BCE AE 28 16-8g Ares - Bull Butting Sicily Syracuse Timoleon Third Deocracy 344-317 BCE AE Hemidrachm Zeus Thundrbolt
