Collecting by Year

    i guess that would depend on your pocket book. i dont collect year sets but i do try to get more than one of what i am collecting. if i had a reason as good as yours i surely would try to put 2 sets together.

    Hey there,
    Well at your nearest Wal-Mart in the photo page section they have some that are made by Beautone 4"x6".

    The way I do it is to take the mint set envelope and put it in one pocket and the two coin sleeves in the other two, and then in the little pockets over on the side, I put an info sheet.

    The pages cost about $1 for 10 pages and just any notebook will do.

    It beats paying 20 some bucks to buy the ones made just for a collector.

    joesmom,

    Collecting by mintmark is just a preferrence by some collectors. Unless you are going to collect older US issues, the mintmark is not really going to make much in difference of price. The CC,S, & O, usually bring high prices than P or D. For any modern coin dated 1934 or later, the mintmark for the most part doesn't make a difference until your hit the proof only.
