Collar Failure? Cuds? What is this please?

    Hi, There,
    I have not run into a cuds coin before and don't believe this is one but then what is it? I don't believe it is PMD because the markings/striations don't impact the denticles and the markings/damage are on both sides and opposite poles of the coin. Weird to me anyway.     Here are a couple of additional photos. Also, can anyone suggest a good affordable camera system for coins? Very clear photos of the entire coin. Not cheap necessarily, but reliable and serviceable that doesn't cost an arm and a leg. Thanks.
