Agreed.....I like the paper to sit and relax and read it no matter where I choose...However... and there is always a but....and I agree with Mikenoodle on the fact your mail man or lady knows your business. not to mention that if you recycle as most everyone does ....your data is out there for others to see. My wife and I shredd everything.....not my coin worlds but I do my address off the issue.as well as all catalogs I receive and I get alot because my wife and I are on line and catalog shoppers!

Now think about this and understand that indenity theft is off the hook!

when you receive a catalog or any other mail with your data on it you should shredd it. here's an example you get your favorite catalog. on it is a catalog code and a customer #....now all you need do is call the company and place an order they ask what is your cat code you say 12345 and your customer # 6789 then they ask your address....now they say it back to you and ask is this purchase going to be shipped to your address or a business address or is it a gift. Most companies keep a record of your credit card numbers br it Amex, MC, Discover ,Visa.... etc you place your order and the operator ask what card would you like this billed to? Now the theif replies MC well that a 1 in 4 chance and if the operator does not ask you to give your card number because it's on file you just been had. the theif tells the operator to ship the package as a gift or to a business! Most do ask for a security code on the back of your card....however the more you give these guys the better chance they have to rip you off .

I have a neighbor who works for the state dept. he and his wife were station in Cuba for 3 years . His wife's indenity got stolen while they were in cuba ...now what you may not know is there is no credit cards used in cuba...it's all cash and barter......their only saving grace was that the state dept. could verify that they were in cuba at the time of the charges......That helped them big time as if not they would of had the time of their lives trying to prove that the charges were legit.

I myself for the safety of my wife and family may go paper less next time when I renew my Coin World......I don't want to be held at gun point or even worst for the sake of reading a news paper. Times are hard and people are crazy why give them fuel for the fire. as least on line you can print it out and then shredd the print out when your done using it. Just my view point... but again there is nothing like printers ink on your fingers and a relaxing chair to kick back and enjoying a good read.
