On the top of the rim, from 11 to 1 o'clock, you can see traces of rough black color. Down around LIBERTY, the date, on Lincoln's shoulder, in the hair, around the motto and the top of the hair where it meets the fields, and a small amount around the nose - you can see traces of very light pitting. That, coupled with the traces of black is what tells me the coin has been cleaned. I'd bet that at some point in time in the past that coin was almost entirely black. And it has been cleaned off. There are minor traces of the same thing on the reverse but less of it. And I would say that the coin has virtually no luster whatsoever and that it is probably graded AU50 BN.</p><p><br /></p><p>The pics of the '14 are terrible it's all but impossible to estimate a grade.
