My observation of diffused lite pictures is that it tends to make cents appear abit more red than in hand. Although in this set, the RB&#039;s do appear very very close to RD, and the BN does appear to be RB in hand. Which brings up another observation regarding the TPG,, PCGS can be very hard on color.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>66 - Standard 65 SMS, nice, nothing special. I probably would have been around 66.</p><p>24 - Head scratcher... appears RB in hand imo, although the Red is somewhat dulled and not what I&#039;d call mint red. Nice toning.</p><p>29s - A candidate for an easy upgrade IMO. Must have been downgraded by the tpg for the tick by the mouth and the minor rb&#039;ish stain behind the head.</p><p>54s - cooool coin. half yellow and half red tone, very pretty. Would be a bombshell if it wasn&#039;t for the gash and other hits on Abe&#039;s head.</p><p>72dd - old holder, solid coin.</p><p>31d - Another one that could easily go RD from another tpg imo,, and maybe warranted. I&#039;d guess 85-90% RD and the B ain&#039;t very B,, more RB, and most of the RB is Redish.... oh well... there were a few of you who read it well.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>Awards for this set of cents:</p><p>Best - A few tied this round - .83 (RLM&#039;s, Shoe, Duke)</p><p>HA - Louie_two_bits - 1.67 - see what cutting class gets you. <img src="styles/default/xenforo/clear.png" class="mceSmilieSprite mceSmilie2" alt=";)" unselectable="on" unselectable="on" /></p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>Color winner - Mikenoodle - Only one to see B in the 24.. and only one to see B in the 31D... and btw,, the only one to see B in the 72 (which twas&#039;nt there)... But well done !
