[QUOTE="The Penny Lady®, post: 908784, member: 16948"]First, let me just say that I don't believe anyone has to justify or explain how much they do or don't earn - to anyone on the planet! And since when did that matter to being involved in and enjoying collecting coins???? GEESE!

That being said, when I first read Tom's post about CT beinhg made up more of "upper class" type people, I thought I misread his post and had to do a doubletake, because my experience here on CT especially has been the exact opposite. With only a few exceptions, the people who post here have been the most down to earth, "regular" coin people I've experienced, NO ONE MORE SO THAN JACK. Jack has freely given his time, knowledge, experience, and even money to help others here on CT. He has even given up his frequent flyer mileage just to sponser other CT people to be able to attend a large coin show. Who else can say they've done even 1/10th of that for strangers they only met here on a coin forum? Not me.

I don't know what you guys mean by "300,000" but I am guessing you are referring to annual income? I buy and post some pretty nice coins here, some cost me quite a lot, but that doesn't mean I fall into any kind of high income bracket, not at all. I love coins and buy and sell coins to earn a living, and I get to see some pretty amazing pieces out there, some of which I bend over backwards and do what I can to be able to acquire. I make sacrafices.

No one, not you or anyone here on the boards, know what I do or what anyone else does or what kind of sacrafices we make to buy our coins - and I/we don't owe anyone - not anyone - an explanation about any of this.
