Welcome to the newbies!

I personally am very glad to see new people join here, and I hope they get as much out of the information shared here on CT as I do. I consider myself pretty new to these sites as well. I'm not all that savvy in blogging forums and when I first posted on CU, I made some protocol mistakes and received some nasty comments, which I took personally. I came very close to terminating my membership there. If it weren't for the very kind words and support from other members there (and some who post here too), especially those who knew me personally, I would have quit. CU does have a wealth of universal knowledge and I have learned a lot and been able to keep abreast of current coin trends through that site, and having my own coin business, I feel it is important to learn, share, and network so I continue my membership there. I now see that there are many on CU who post negative remarks just to try and spark a feud, not because they want to offer some information or opinion. After being on CU for over 6 months now, I can pick out the ones who act like little kids wanting attention, and it's funny, but it is often the same group of people who do this over and over.

But this forum is where I feel most "at home." People here are pretty nice and eager to learn, including me. Aside from some who seem to start posts just to boost their numbers (they should keep in mind that quality is much better than quantity!), everyone here seems to behave quite professionally and with respect. I haven't even seen any instances where the moderator/administrator had to step in on any threads - I think the members police themselves pretty well here. And I think that is important and will help this site's reputation garner more respect from the coin community in general.
