In that regard the forum is worse now than it ever was. But that was not always the case. There was a time when you could get honest opinions there. For example, can you imagine this thread being posted there today - Whats the biggest variance you've ever seen submitting the same coin (raw) to PCGS?

I will say this about the PCGS forum, you will find there some of the most knowledgeable people that you can find anywhere. But you must be able to separate the wheat from the chaff. And if you don't already know who those knowledgeable people are - you'll do one heck of a lot of reading trying to figure it out for there is a lot of bad information on that forum as well.

uncle who in their right mind would go there y not just ask you. granted you take a lil bit of time to understand the question these days but once you do you can usually reply
