Hi all, Today I have 2 small bags of coins I'm taking to my local CoinStar machine. I average about 1 visit every 4 months. The first bag is my current Metal Detected Coins. I always get a few in the reject bin. We'll see what comes out. My second bag contains pocket change, my FOG's which is Found On Ground coins that I pick up on my day to day walks.. and FIM's which are Found In Meter (Parking) coins. Anybody want to take a guess of the total I will get? I will post the results this evening!
Do we win them? Nice haul! Don't forget the check the ejection shoots on all those pay phones around the city!
No way! Those are really nasty Those aren't used as much since everyone now uses their own personal cellphones! But the bums hang around in them to do nasty stuff. They leave cups and bottles full of urine at the payphones!
Ok.. So I was asked to work late tonight. I'm heading to get my coins counted soon. Results will be in sooner, within the next hour..
Ok.. Here are the results! After the metal detected coins I did the non detected coins.. In total after the Coinstar fees was $84.69 The Breakdown of FOG, FIM and Pocket Change - The Breakdown of my Metal Detected finds - (No Pennies) The rejected coins were surprising.. 2 silver, 2 foreign and a game token. And the rest just really bad Environmental Damage.
Dang I was close. I didn't think about the 2 different piles. I wouldn't guess about the same for the other as well.
