It isn't marked as such, but this is a 2.5 Dirhams coin from Morocco. (It's also graded MS-67... by far the highest for the type)
Yes - 1923 was the year they changed the design and made 72000 of each. By global standards that is quite a low mintage, but for Jersey coins about standard.
Well here's an oddity for you - an Australian "Seven Pence" coin - created by some wag by insetting a Sixpence into a Penny!
OK, I have to post a couple recent additions! 6 centimes, Haiti, 1846 versus 6 1/4 centimes, 1850. They are not in great condition, alas. They changed the iconography as they changed from a presidential system to an empire under Emperor Faustin I. The 1846 uses year of independence (An 43) in the French Revolutionary style, while the 1850 had AD dates. They also made a 6 1/4 centime in 1846, but I haven't found one yet.
