The coin was issued in 1987, for the 750th anniversary of Berlin (or rather of a document that mentioned the settlement). In &#039;87 Berlin was still two cities, East and West, and this 10 DM piece issued by the Federal Republic of Germany (then West G.) shows the bear from Berlin&#039;s CoA. The pattern is houses, with the Berlin Wall as a visible line in the middle. That upright bear holds the first seal, with yet another bear.
