Let's say you've suddenly become a billionaire, what coin would be the first on your list?

I would buy ten billion wheat pennies!

No but seriously, if I had a billion to spend on coins the first thing I would do is assemble a date set of high MS Capped bust half dollars.

Then I'd fill my type set with extremely high end coins

Then I would get to work on a draped bust silver (all denominations) high grade date set.

But realistically I would blow about 10 million on coins and spend the rest on real life things. I would also buy a lot of draped bust coins and give them away on here.

Like I said in my first post, if I got that kind of money from the lottery I would do a huge GAW. Imagine a 500 St gaudens giveaway, or a 3,000 $2.5 gold giveaway.

On a serious note, I would get 1st and 2nd century coins in XF condition or better, all denominations and all the emperors and empresses + Caesars.
Plus Greek coins in same conditions - currently happy with what I can steal but certainly not "billionaire" coins.

Well, I think I'll win it first and then think about it..Don't cross your chickens before your bridges are hatched.

1915 Pan Pac $50 both round AND octagonal as good a MS as there is. Hopefully MS 66+ I guess I can expect to pay between $200 and 300k EACH.
