thanks for the help. In another box there was some silver coins $1 and 50 cents in Blue boxes. They look like a baseball and one side is curved . Is that real? This one too. it looks beat up to me.
If that 1950 proof Lincoln cent were better preserved it could go as high as $70. But it looks like it has been handled. Nice toning, although some of the luster on the reverse is missing. Bottom right of the wheat stalk and a little on the bottom left stalk, but that could be the lighting/ photograph. Hard to put a value on this. It's always what someone is willing to pay. Previous poster said $35, IDK, this could go for $50 to the right collector. I think a coin shop would pay $30. Things that are hard to put a price on are proofs and currency with errors. The market is all over the place on those.
