The astronomical connections for All Hallows and the entire first week of November was the zenith culmination of the Pleiades at midnight in Northern latitudes. Hence the ancient European New Year and the change over to winter. Many people rooted in aboriginal Earth based teachings claim ancestry connected to the seven sisters and their mother Hathor in Egypt and numerous other aspects of the one goddess of goodness and womanhood and joy all over the globe. This includes the Hindu Aditi the divine mother of the Ashwins who are the twin dioscuri. The divine mother of all the gods-Kybele and Rhea and on and on. Here is her Greek form on a Roman provincial coin as Goddess of the crossroads, the triple faced Moon goddess Hecate. Later she was spun as the goddess of witchcraft and all the "dark magic" but that is was all part of the war against the Earth based wisdom traditions as the big religious movements wanted hegemony over the peoples. upload_2018-10-2_20-14-34.png

The goddess (I'm assuming this, as I've still not got an ID on the coin) certainly has a ghostly look about her as well...

Most of what I would post has been posted already in this thread...but what the heck, right!

This coin always made me think of the Cryptkeeper:

Rev.: NIKOΠΟΛΙΤΩΝ ΠΡΟCICT; crescent and one star
Ref.: AMNG 1436v; Nikopolis BMC 17
Unsure why Wildwinds does not include the final C on the obv even though all the pictures they have include it. My coin includes it so the C is mentioned in the obv legend. Also, the [CE] is off flan.
