Almost all my coins are of low valued and raw except the silver and gold ones and the Franklin MS66 FBL half that I bought yesterday. I guess starting out with a few extra coins in my collection that I keep for trading won't be a bad idea. I don't have access to Biox so which is the best way to clean verdigris-distilled water or olive oil? Also got a few German coins forming rust. Got to start preserving those before further damage.
hot distilled water will arrest it but you will need something like biox to remove it permentantly I would think.
how would you recommend the removal? will soaking in biox automatically remove it? or does it still have to be rubbed with a toothbrush?
