Recorded a REALLY terrible movie (1986 Invaders From Mars) where, at the end, the alien's weapons are triggered by copper...the kid lead takes a cardboard 2x2 out of his pocket and announces "An 1958 D, mint condition" and uses it to save humanity! Also, his penny collection is housed in a goldfish bowl and a draw-top bag...
A good movie.. Somewhere in time.. Christopher reeve travels back in time (1800's) to meet a woman from the past he falls in love with. He finds a modern penny from his own time in the suit pocket he wears to time travel which brings him back to the future.. You have to see the movie to experience the frustration!
