I recently, and just for the heck of it, responded to an ad I'd gotten in the mail from the Franklin "Mint" (what a joke!). The ad had a picture of a 1921 Morgan in at least MS65 on it and was offering "One Each of Every Silver Dollar of the 20th Century" At the rate of one per month. No price was mentioned in the ad and I had the option of returning any unwanted coins (at my expense). Wow what a deal huh? Every single silver dollar all un-circulated to boot! So I sent in the order slip and waited. Then 6 wks later I got a package. I was excited and rushed to open it right away! Inside I saw they had sent me a gray dull looking 1971 Eisenhower dollar that was clad and along with that an invoice for $58.95! At first I was furious.then I laughed like a crazy man and promptly sent it back ($4.65 s&h) I sent along a note saying I had 50 or 60 of those in my store already selling slowly at $7 apiece and I didn't need another. 4 weeks later I get another invoice in the mail asking me to pay up! I finally called them directly and they said they have never received the coin back! So I made a copy of the tracking info provided by the post office saying it was delivered 3 wks ago and they still insisted they had not gotten it and I still owed the 60 bucks. Finally I just hung up on the lady and have washed my hands of the thieves. Same thing goes for Littleton and Bradford. ALL Thieves.
