OK, I think at least one member has the entire set and highly graded, but I love the design and have actually been there, or what used to be Biafra:
The Principality of Sedan was absorbed by France during the Thirty Years' War. It was independent from the mid 1500s to 1600s. This coin isn't much to look at, but is my only one from the region. It was a fortuitous 25 cent bin find. "SED" for Sedan visible at 6:00 on reverse. Sedan Double Tournois 1634-38
Learned something again! I only knew Sedan from the climatic Battles in 1870 where the Prussians(Germans) annihilated the French Army under Field Marshal MacMahon/ then same in 1940 under Gamelin's command.
Yes, the Biafran Proof Set was my first real coin purchase. I bought the 5 piece set for $1100 in 1980/ fresh from Valcambi Mint stock. For my taste the most beautifull coin designs from 20 th Century

Since we're showing French regional coinage, here's one from Lorraine: Duchy of Lorraine 30 Deniers 1728-9 Leopold I I believe the Jerusalem Cross on the back refers to their claim to the historic title of King of Jerusalem dating back to the Crusades.
