It takes forever to find a bank willing to play ball on a regular basis and get you the coins you want and you always got to be careful talking with any of them because if one person turns against you or complains they will cut you off to save the drama with the tellers ect. One branch may be unhelpful and another may be super helpful. I found when asking for boxes of coins that when I've said I watch my niece and nephew on the weekends we spend time looking through them liking for old or strange ones to pull out and that I won't bring it back to them after I'm done I'll take it to a completely different bank. Just saying there's a fine line and a balance that has to be played and you kind of have to go at their speed and take no's as answers with a thank you. I've found a residential area bank is a good bank to get from for circulated rolls and a commercial area bank is good for uncirculated because they have less turn ins by customers and go through more change, however a residential area bank isn't going to want to take your dumps all the time as it just builds up on them. Then the bigger you want to go with multiple boxes at a time the more banks you may need to use to spread it around so that you don't become a nuissance and get cut off. And half dollars or dollar coins can be a problem for banks no matter what, unless you have a good relationship, if you are going that route they will usually cut you off if they get stuck with a bunch of half's afterwards, even if you use them to buy stuff around the community and they start turning up on them after they gotten you a box or two. You kind of have to be straight with them and considerate and if they can't do it for whatever their reason move on. Likely another branch can. The other option would be opening a commercial account and paying the account fees, then they will do whatever you want.
