Had a guy at my house to help me move some furniture around. He brought his three kids along. So I gave the two youngest each a buffalo nickel (1920 and 1927) and the oldest a mercury dime (1942, IIRC). Then gave them a 2018 blue book to use as a reference for U. S. coins. Maybe start one or more young numismatists.
I have been handing out full date Buffalos to kids and circulated Silver Cirtificates to adults for an early Coin Week
Awesome! My little brothers friend has some coins that he showed me. Was very cool. A bunch of Canadian coins. A buffalo and a Mercury dime. So I went home and got together some coins a bunch of wheat pennies, an Indian Head cent, a couple silver coins, a liberty head nickel because i had duplicates and an Kennedy half dollar and a proof nickel. It made my day for building up his collection.
