Coins for Christmas

OK, so we had the Secret Santa and the Saturnalia...did anyone get any Christmas Coins from other sources?

I had to buy my own coin for Christmas. And I didn’t even get underwear or socks.

I didn't even get socks. In fact, I got ONE gift and only one gift. Salve for old man achy muscles. LOL

 

I got a Christmas tie with reindeer on it.

 

He apparently went to a coin shop and asked the guy there what to buy.

 

No coins for me

I got a new safe for Christmas but she kept the combination.

 

To be fair, the ones I had previously were threadbare to put it nicely lol.

On a serious note, i told my immediate family (the only one's who really know what I'm up to) not to buy me anything coin related. Just a waste of money. Unless she'd like to get me a 1909 S v.d.b. (which i don't even care about, just seems the coin to have) and she bailed on that idea by lunchtime. Which was the idea. Lol.

 

That's kind-of like what my bro did..."Hey, Mr Coinman, what is a coin collectors would like priced at $XXX?"

I'd kill for a good pair of slippers.
I have a flat right foot (thanks Navy medicine) and it hurts to walk around on hard floors. I had an amazing pair of I think they were Isotoners when I lived in Korea. They got lost in the move and I've been using a pair of cheap Old Navy flip-flops since then lol.
