I have had variable service from Europe from awful (3 months) to two days with DHL or FedEx. Coins through the mail are consistently longer and sometimes the delay is mostly in customs (both in the US and in Europe).

In general, my experience has been much better with courier services, and I've decided to request their use when my invoice amount warrants.

Yep, I am waiting on coins from overseas that were due weeks ago from rep auction houses. They have been shipped by sellers but hung up somewhere. I have gotten coins in 2 weeks that I ordered last, so not sure why? If it was one order late I would figure maybe it got lost but I am 6 orders left with 14 coins out there.

Can you imagine a world in which an item is posted internationally, and it is scanned at every play it is supposed to be scanned, and updated along the way? And then if customs is applied, the correct tariff is used?

The holiday period in combination with lock downs here and there in Europe and increased online shopping, have resulted in serious delays in domestic and international postal deliveries. Up until a few weeks ago, I did not have any problems, but now even a parcel from Germany to the Netherlands is taking forever. Most likely the Netherlands will experience further COVID-related restrictions, so it will not improve any time soon.
