    well, this is a modern coin, but it's cool and it was minted in yekaterinbug (ekaterinburg, E. M. mint mark).

    R: Z-Ε/Λ-Ε around a snake staff (?) within a grain-wreath.
    Notes: A little known town mentioned by Homer as being allied to Troy during the Trojan War. Their coins are scarce and not often seen.

    I was shut-out on "8" of the 24 letters in our alphabet:

    Sorry I can't live online so I miss many letters but I'll throw in two from Zeugma (Antoninus Pius and Philip I) with temple grove reverse. The trees in front of the temple were surrounded by a colonnade. The type was used by many emperors but Philip seems easiest to find. Excavations of the city made the news about 20 years ago when construction for a new dam uncovered a lot of things that would have been lost forever under the new waters.

    My Pius has been shown here before when first acquired with mention of its die clash.

    a-nut hasn't post after V. I'm sure some people have tetra from zancle
    as for Y I can think of Yamboli, Balaklava, but we don't seem to have many that specialize in medieval era.
