I'm glad you did. Nobody else has posted a coin from Elaiussa.... and I'd never even heard of the place before.

Only to say "nice coins!" :)

Actually, Ebusus is the name of the island but it was probably also the name of the primary town, so you're good :D

Man, that little Ebusus guy of yours gets me every time. Just one of the coolest characters you're likely to see on a coin. And just based on the fact that he's from what is modern day Ibiza, you can surmise that the dude knows how to party.

D'oh, Eion! I forgot. Someday I will buy a better example but my love of lizards caused an itchy bidding finger.

Actually, until I purchased it, neither did I....

And, I haven't heard of most of the cities/Towns listed here under 'E'...and I used to think I had a 'slight' familiarity with Ancients LOL

    Gorgeous Posts all !!!!

Well, I've come up dry for "F". Does anyone have any coins from cities starting with "F"?

I don't see any Greek ones (for the sake of simplicity I suggest keeping Ph-cities under "P"). Are there any from elsewhere?

    *rats* .... I didn't find any "F"-ing coins either!!

None here. It looks like provincials from Flaviopolis (Cilicia) are the only hope. Anyone??

Heh, no worries, Martin. At least you didn't go on about there being no "F" city coins when one was actually sitting in your own collection!
