They still have studied all of history to get that degree and even if they weren't interested in the topic, if they are like me they were surprised to find they ended up interested after a semester. I did not think I would be interested in the History of Colonial Latin America when I took it for the credits....now it is something I am very interested in, I was fascinated to learn about it more in depth.
