I don’t need another obsession but my grandads was a watch maker so I have a thing for timepieces on the search for coin related timepieces.

    nice little desk clock

I picked this up for way less than melt. All 1964 coins. Had to replace the movement and it keeps perfect time. 20210605_215259_HDR~3.jpg 20210605_215328~3.jpg

I used to see watches with the Kennedy half dollar faces, but doubted if they were anything other than an image as the weight and size would be quite clumsy.

I really like your desk clock.
I also like this pocket watch. Sidney Rubeck watch, I think.

Probably tens of thousands of them. I used to see them all the time. They are a lot scarser now as most of them probably found their way into the great silver melt in late 79 early 80. At that time the silver in them was worth $82
For watches that had a coin for the face, they typically had the back and center hollowed out to reduce the weight, make room for the movement, and shorten the distance between the movement and the hands.
