New York State and the Blue Mountains are two of the most beautiful areas in the world and both on the East cost. Lake Placid is just prozac in landscape. The reason NYC is so great is because the Geography of NYS is so great.

Tell you the truth guys, I would rather kick back on Rubens balcony or Harry's back porch and toss down a few beers than be a tourist. Thats just me, I'm not a high maintainance kind of guy.

One thing I do want to see.....the Statue of Liberty. I WILL see that. My wife came to America on Ellis Island from Italy.

It will be different when you get here. I don't throw people around like tourists anyway. When I take people around they do it like a native. I happen to be very good at being a host.

However, if you want to see the Statute of Liberty, if that will be possible, prepare for a whole day. It is locked down with security from end to end, and I'm not talking about like at the airport. And you can't climb to the top any more because of the American's is Disability Act....

    (I kid you not)

Hell, I'd rather spend the day Fishing for Stripers...

Do you know what that is?

    Awesome

I am not that far north of Stamford, I am definitely going to try and go.

My first coin show, should be exiting. I will make sure to leave my credit cards at home, taking only the amount I want to spend in cash!

(I've already maxed it out twice on Ebay in less than a month, I would probably go hog-wild if I brought it)

    :)

    Jack,

As far as airfare goes, look at Continental into Newark. Closer to the show I might have a spare car to loan you if you need one.

I can NOT come on Saturday, I work in the car biz, but Friday and Sunday I can do. Maybe Thursday night we need to take Jack out and see NY City.
