It is the same in China, and other Asian countries... Random western words on shirts and in music. Very similar to the random Chinese characters on shirts, tatoos, etc. in the West. More of the Human fascination for the different, foreign, or just mysterious.

We need to come up with a cool design for a t-shirt with the words "sweaty pig" and market them to the Chinese, and use the proceeds of the sales to buy us some cool ancient coins. That should be sweet revenge for all the tattoos and shirts they've imported to us with cuss words and insults in Chinese characters.

Actually, most of the Tshirts are MADE there. So when there is a screw up, the factory has to remake the order. The bad tshirts are just sold locally in China. Hence, you get to see some really cool, screwy sayings and words. And this goes for MANY different consumer products with names or symbols on them. Rejected production will get sold into local markets. Pretty cool. I used to bring back some oddball stuff for the kids as they were growing up.
