I sincerely hope I'm not being a nuisance, but am having trouble applying for membership in WINS. After filling out the information required and hitting the "add" button I get nothing but a mesage saying "URL Not Found." Is the problem that my server is Internet Explorer, or that I'm using a Mac? Not exactly computer literate, obviously. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance.
Gary and anyone else interested in WINS - At the present time WINS is undergoing some changes and in the process of moving the WINS web site and the mail lists to a new server. As a result - not all the bugs are worked out just yet but we hope they will be very soon. Please don't be discouraged by this - we just need a little time. In the meantime - please feel free to contact me directly, I am a WINS Society Officer, and I will make sure that you are not forgotten. Please - do not send me your personal information - a simple email will do so that I may contact you when all is well and working again. gdjmsp@qwest.net
Hey GDJMSP. Does he forget who we are? I with you we know who's talking. Maybe I should post a picture and give away his secret..?? catman
Gee GDJMSP, Are you inferring that this may not be the thing the members of the forum could handle before their morning coffee...? catman
Can i be the family member that everyone always asks "i thought you said he was coming to this party?", although he never does put in that promised appearance. Actually that sounds alot like me...
Ok, for everyone who is curious- here's the Queen story. I was crowned Queen by Crystalk64 (I think) after I was mentioned in the "Found in Rolls" column in CoinWorld a few years ago. That and a couple of state quarter first reports. My 15 minutes of fame lasted far longer than I ever could have imagined! I think between us three chicks we can keep these rowdies in line! Now I don't know about still being the Queen, but Lady Kyra has a nice ring to it... Rachel
Coin World forum refugees PLEASE go back to CW to read the latest rumor! Get angry and come back here which is now OUR home!
It is soooooooooo nice to be here at this forum surrounded by my old Coin World Forum friends. The fun continues!!
Well, it looks like just about everyone is here - so welcome to CT! I hope you all feel at home here and we're looking forward to lots of new information and knowledge to be shared
I double dog dare ya'. Go ahead, post it. Need an online store location?? Send it to me and I'll take care of it. ..JD
Hello, I just shipped over from Coin World too. Thanks for sharing this site and inviting us here JD. I see a lot of familiar names so it should be fun. RC Sr.
We don't have to take anyone's forum crown away from them, or even fight over it much. Several nations have had co-sovereigns. Great Britain's William III and Mary II (i.e William and Mary) were one. Russia's Peter I (the Great) began his rule that way. In each case, the co-sovereigns were equal in power and equal in honor. So therefore, God Save the Queens!
well all i can say is the more woman that come here the better. It still suprises me how many woman are into this hobby, i always thought this would be a male kinda thing, when i got first into it.
It's interesting though, that of the few women I've talked to who are into numimatics, they were all led here by a male relative. Robin's Joe will be the exception to this.
Well, I'm no exception either! I have my dad, and to a smaller extent my granddad to thank (or blame) for my current addiction. I got it from both sides of the family, so I guess I was doomed... Rachel
Hey All, Regardless of the reason there here. I like having them around. They provide a different perspective on coins and that's neat in my book. The ones I have dealt will all have been queesns as far as I'm concerned. catman steve
