By the way, since this forum is a globally open to the World public there may be confusion in their minds of many people about currencies and their units.

For example, in a forum thread, here, " https://www.coincommunity.com/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=297132&whichpage=4 "

someone who has travelled a lot in the World said this:

"... Just for the idea, but there are over 2500 Ugandan Shilling, over 2900 Colombian Pesos, over 4000 Cambodian Riel, over 8200 Lao Kip, over 13.000 Indonesian Rupee and over 22.700 Vietnam Dong in a US dollar (and to top it off, although not for sale outside the country: 33.500 Iranian Rial per dollar). You'd get these currencies for free when only applying three positions behind the comma. Talk about worthless pennies... Dollar, Euro, Pound, Shilling, Pesos, Riel, Rupee, Rial, Lira, Shekel, etc etc. These are NOT currency units actually. Currency unit, for ex in the US, is the Cent, not the Dollar. That's, there is no conversion actually between the currencies as their units are not being converted. For example, "how many Israel Shekel in one US Dollar" can be said, but, "how many Israel Agora in one US Cent" can NOT be said. If you go to Israel, if you want to buy Shekel by Dollar, you can do it. But, even if you want to pay much dollar or much shekel to buy one agora, you can not buy it, because one agora simply doesn't exist. The stiuation is not much different in the US. Yes, the cent exists in the US, even more, flooding, but, nobody wants it, nobody, even the president does not have a one cent coin in his pocket. That's, it is not me talking Penny is worthless, useless. Even the Presidents are considering the penny coin is worthless, useless, etc. If it were not worthless, they would have it in their pockets, wouldn't they? Reality speaking itself.

Ps: the only exception to the counted currencies above is Japan Yen. After they changed their currency unit "Sen" (by cancelling it) to "Yen", they have only Yen which is currency unit name. But, in Japan too, it is not much different as there is no "one Yen coin" there.
