He handed over his purse to the Hodja which only had a few coins inside. Then Hodja called the cook near him. He held the purse close to the cook’s ear and started shaking the purse. Then he said:</p><p>There! You got what you asked for.</p><p>The cook asked confused:</p><p>How could this be possible? You haven’t given me my money yet.</p><p>Hodja replied:</p><p>Come on now, if you sell the steam of the food, then you are paid with the sound of the coins in return, of course.</p><p><br /></p><p>--- </p><p><br /></p><p>When the Hodja was repairing the roof a man called him from below. </p><p>What do you want said the Hodja. </p><p>Come down for just a minute, he said.
