Now there's a Pennsylvania Boy with Kentucky roots? Just brings to mind the old argument about the "long rifle". Pennsylvania long rifle, Kentucky long rifle. My money's always been on Pennsylvania...then again, I was born in Allentown.

wow there have been quiet a few upsets this year!

 

Yea all these upsets are killing my bracket.

I mean look at my Midwest bracket. I had in the 3rd round KU, Georgetown, OK st and Mich St...in the sweet 16 and out of those 4 only 1 is left.
And my BEST Possible score is 214 while Kenneth has 166 already.
I guess I'm like KU and it's over...lol

Actually, I AM distantly related to http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Joe_gallo, though he died the year before I was born - like 8th cousins twice removed, or some convoluted relation.

hehe - my uncle was a pastor in the Chicago area for several years and he knew several "mob" members - one of them told my uncle once that all he had to do was tell them if ANYONE was bothering him and he would personaly give them a pair of concrete slippers! LOL

A bit off topic and certainly irrelivant now, but I just found one of the "best" rules to pick a bracket:

Any team with "state" in the title, they suck. If you're so good Kansas State, why don't you just call yourself Kansas: 'cause you don't have the stones.

 

Hmmm i am next to last....Oh well it's worth my bracket being busted to be rid of Kansas

Well, the reason I said it is irrelevant now is that Kansas State is doing better than Kansas but I just thought it was funny.

Just looked at my brackets again. I still have 6 of 8 elite 8 and all of my final 4 left.

Until tomarrow I am sure, then they will probably all get beat.

I am worried that WV will loose without their point guard. (broken foot)

On an NIT note, the Wyoming Cowgirls are in the WNIT this year and have now made it to the Sweet Sixteen there. They won the whole thing in 2007 so we are hoping for a repeat of that!
