Hagerstown and Frederick (30 min apart) on the same weekend? Ugh. I'd love to come up (and see the folks), but can't face the 6-hour drive each way, especially in Memorial Day traffic. Oh, well -- enjoy!
I think I'll stop by the Horsham show it's a much better than then the one they use to have in Ft Washington. I wish the Battlefield weren't so far about 3 hours one way for me.
I just got back from the Hagerstown coin show. Just wanted to say another fine Battlefield show event! I highly recommend if you're in the area to stop in this show. I found 3 nice coins that I will be posting soon. Many Thanks to Mike Dixon and Alan and company. I always find nice coins at the Battlefield events!
Boy, I wish I could hit the Hagerstown show. I still remember going to my first show at the Venice with my brother and my grandfather. I must've been eight or nine. I seem to remember an overwhelming number of gold coins -- I was fascinated by the St. Gaudens double eagles, but at $60 or so each, there was no way I would ever be able to afford one...
