<p>[QUOTE=&quot;rld14, post: 483314, member: 16133&quot;]So I had been planning to go to one of two local coin shows here in New Jersey today.&nbsp; These 2 shows were 4 miles apart, so if one was no good I could hit the other, right?</p><p><br /></p><p>Well, we got 6&quot; of snow the other night, and when I woke up this morning it was coming down again.&nbsp; In spite of being intelligent, I decided to drive to the show anyway.&nbsp; My mother asked to go to a show, so I picked her up and dragged her along.</p><p><br /></p><p>This was what the drive looked like...</p><p><br /></p><p><img src="http://img525.imageshack.us/img525/5881/sundaycoinshowinsnownv3.jpg" class="bbCodeImage wysiwygImage" alt="" unselectable="on" /></p><p><br /></p><p>First show was mainly stamps, few customers, few dealers.&nbsp; 1 guy was selling coins and I did pick up a 28-S SLQ for the 1928 Mint Mark Hoard.</p><p><br /></p><p>Got to the hotel at 9, ate breakfast, spent an hour at the show, didn&#039;t find any covers (I collect 1861 issue US Stamps) so I went off to the next show.</p><p><br /></p><p>Next show was nearly full of dealers, some buyers but nowhere near as crowded as I expected, but seeing as it was snowing heavily, I wasn&#039;t surprised at all.</p><p><br /></p><p>Managed to pick up 6 Walkers for my circulated set, 3 SLQs for the VF Circulated set and 5 more for my 28 Mint Mark Hoard.&nbsp; Also picked up a nice 81-0 Raw Morgan, seemed like a well struck NO coin and besides, my little cousin wants an old Silver Dollar and a nice shiny BU one will make her thrilled.</p><p><br /></p><p>Between the shows and eBay that&#039;s 2 28-Ds and 10 28-Ss this week, 2 of which are Doubled MMs! <img src="styles/default/xenforo/clear.png" class="mceSmilieSprite mceSmilie8" alt=":D" unselectable="on" unselectable="on" /> <img src="styles/default/xenforo/clear.png" class="mceSmilieSprite mceSmilie8" alt=":D" unselectable="on" unselectable="on" />[/QUOTE]</p><p><br /></p>
