Versus China trying to replace the US dollar as the world currency. Could there be a connection by any chance? I know very little about the whole subject, but am curious what you think.

I don't think one has anything to do with the other. Is China hijacking our coins? Wouldn't surprise me. They have been taking many things from us, including patents and secret documents no one talks about. There was this guy who worked for the underwater research lab in Rhode Island...

Aren't small denomination US coins also used a fair bit in other countries with unstable currencies, or those that have effectively dollarized their economies?

Seems that some countries haven't stopped trying to take over the world currency. What better way than create Kaos. Sorry to say. There is no need for Btcoin. The dollar is plenty strong, even over inflated.
