Hey guys. I got an intercept shield album for my buffalo nickels. It looks great, but the black lining on the inside is peeling up. What kind of adhesive could I use to stick this down that would be safe?

I’m not sure but I would think plain Elmer’s glue would be fine as long as no glue shows or drips and that it is throughly dried before use.

I'm not completely sure either, but I concur with this.

You might look into archival materials at the scrapbooking side of things. I know bookbinder use neutral pH PVA (Polyvinyl acetate - which is one of but not the only ingredient in Elmer's).

Thanks I didn't think of that. I looked up some different archival glues and will go that route.

Which glue did you decide on?
I have a similar situation with an album page that needs fixed.

I haven't truly decided yet but was thinking of going with lineco neutral pH adhesive, it seemed to have a good rating
