I was always looking for ASE and stuff like that to collect, because I really didnt know what else to collect. One day i was in a coin store when I over hear a guy talking about going through boxes of halves and looking for silver. I started with a few boxes and maybe for 5 kennedy halves that were 40% and one toasted liberty......To make a long story short I was in line at the bank today just depositing a check for my two boxes of halves that are coming in tomorrow, and I over heard a girl talk about a woman that brought in a really old tool box full of half dollars. Here exact words were " the were SO ugly and looked so old" then my ears perked up. Now two of the girls there know that I just started collecting so they put stuff on the side for me.....well today i just had to buy the whole bag of halves that they counted for the day.My hands were shaking and my heart was racing. Im like GOD PLEASE LET THIS ALL BE SILVER. I know as a beginner coin collector it feels better to find it then buy it. 1 BANK BAG of halves is $1000, or 2000 coins. Well since 510pm today I have been seperating them by years and this is what I got. Out of 2000 coins 1053 were SILVER

1963 Franklin ( 1 )

1964 Kennedy ( 89 )

1965--- (40)

1966---(72)

1967--- (350)

1968---(345 )

1969--- (156 )

I think this will go in the record books. Im going to go back tomorrow and get the other bag and wait on the 2 new boxes. What would all this silver sell for? You guys have been great with all your advise and direction. Thanks again

Read more: http://www.cointalk.com/showthread.php?t=34809&page=2#ixzz1DRanhbMn[/QUOTE]
