Coin rings. The results!

    So a few weeks back i made a thread about coin rings and if it was ok or not. well, today i share my results!

    Here is a recent silver 53' quarter:

    And btw, this should probably just go to the WTS thread. It's advertising IMO.

    Bravo. A few more and you'll get the hang of it.

    It appears that the rings you've created aren't "square" in that the sides appear angled meaning, a smaller diameter circle on the top compared to the bottom. Perhaps that's a direct result of the sizing tool?

    dunno. i think i just need to center the coin a little more.

    No need to cry over a handful of mostly state quarters... ;)

    If the kid can make a few bucks on top of the learning experience, it's a win-win.

    It was "junk silver" when i got it, so i made it into a ring and polished her up.

    No reason to - those are pretty common coins as far as I can tell. And if you turn a coin into something that is also attractive ... :)
